How do we know a genuine Italian restaurant?
The servers have accents, customers call out in Italian, and the place packs a full house just days after opening. They don’t come more authentic than Rea’s Italian Cucina – the re-incarnation of Sandro’s Pizzeria, the popular family-run restaurant that burned down last winter.
We can confirm that the food is the same great quality that made the original a Calgary establishment. Our Pizza alla Paesana ($16, small) came with a soft crust, spicy sausage and heaps of cheese, while our Vegetarian ($14, small) was a tomato lover’s dream.
Definitely the Rea-l thing.
