Krazy for Kale

Kale EateryToronto (Jan.26.10)

Takeout is a convenience we’re all too happy to have.

That said, there are times when we’d rather stop and sit and now we’ll be doing just that at Kale (the big sister to tasty Sunny Café, tucked inside Noah’s on Bloor).

Now, heading to Yonge and Eg gives us an even larger variety of the buffet-style, 100% vegan, macrobiotic and organic dishes we love. Standouts include spelt perogies, tofu and leek casserole, spinach and tofu pie, assorted salads and steamed veggies ($2/100grams). Healthy comfort food made easy (with some insanely addictive sweets as well, including spelt blueberry muffins and spelt vegan chocolate chip cookies, $2).

Stay tuned for more menu items soon (here’s hoping for more locations, too).
