Forget chocolate chip. Oatmeal raisin is so old school. When we’re having a cookie craving, we prefer to do it like the French.
So we head over to O’Macarons & Chocolats to feel just a little bit Parisian. This new confectionary boutique lured us in with a colourful display of mouth-watering desserts. We savoured delectable macarons ($2); one part meringue, one part cream, all heaven. Flavours include caramel fleur du sel, hazelnut and chocolate, grilled pistachio, and more exotic combos like pear ginger and balsamic chocolate.
While the cookies initially caught our attention, we also sampled the Christophe Morel chocolates ($2), Point G ice cream ($8) and Nespresso coffee ($3).
The Cookie Monster has nothing on us.
