Forget the negative connotation—we like history repeating itself.
Especially if it includes slices of pie from the just-opened Una Pizza and Wine.
Setting up in space previously occupied by local pizza juggernaut The Wicked Wedge (now in Chinook Centre), this tiny gem takes up a sliver of space but packs in a wood-burning oven, full kitchen, a wine bar and plenty of seating space.
The Neapolitan/Spanish-inspired menu features pie varieties like tasty mushroom (roasted portobellos, scamorza cheese, arugula, $17) and salami ($17) options.
Pair with some pintxos (bite-sized Spanish appetizers at three for $5) and a glass of vino ($7-12 by the glass) and….
…a little slice of (delectable) history in the making.
