More than 2000 square feet feature Calgary’s largest selection of Italian reds, whites, fine scotches and liquors, specializing in rare but unpretentious wines—without the hefty price tag. (Or plane ticket.)
We took home The Black Chook by Penny’s Hill ($19), a perfect fruity and velvety combination of Shiraz and Viognier. And before the girlfriends come over on Saturday night, we’ll pick up a bottle of 365 ($23). This soft Prosecco is aptly named by the fine people at Oriel who believe every day is a cause for celebration.
