Today’s newsletter is presented by the letter ‘B’. For buns (of the bread variety), burgers, bowls and Biron.
That’s Chef David Biron, and he continues his love of Asian cuisine with his newest venture in the heart of the Village, Biron: ma cuisine à moi.
Devour imaginative dishes fusing Asian and Québécois fare, like the Kobe beef burger ($20) topped with tempura onion rings and served with miso poutine. Lighter items include a bowl of udon noodles ($16) with a panko-fried duck egg. A true delight: Biron’s Asian poutine ($8), made with fried pineapple sticks and creamy cheesecake morsels.
With passionate wait staff, a relaxed yet refined atmosphere and fabulous food, we think ‘B’ is also for best.
