He may not have any angels, but we're sticking with Charlie.
Charlie's Gallery, a great little spot on Harbord for pre- or post-dinner drinks and laid-back fare during the day (that yes, used to be an art space but now just serves up enticing atmosphere).
We stopped in for a pint of steamwhistle ($5) and, in the name of research of course, an eponymous Charlie’s Gallery martini ($9/2oz) of raspberry, vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice. We'll be back to the exposed brick spot soon for a pastry, panini and coffee and chance to break up our day in a new way.
Heavenly.
