Brewing A Good Time
Duggan's BreweryToronto
(Mar.16.10)
We confess to recently having beer on the brain (and not even in anticipation of St. Patrick's Day).
Our current fixation is thanks to Duggan's Brewery, a spot our guy picked (that we'll pick again).
From exposed brick to copper kettles, the vibe is easy to embrace. Beer (understandably) is a point of pride and we took advantage of the half pint ($3) option in order to sample a few. And while our kitchen expectations were tempered, this was no basic bar menu. We loved the crispy onions in the pulled pork sandwich ($12) and the seared rainbow trout ($13) complete with maple glazed root veggies. Duck confit poutine ($13) will have to wait.
Consider us converted.
