An episode of Hee Haw? No, the gracious waiters at BBQ, the latest venture from the team at Bar & Boeuf. Fusing French cuisine with the grill, they’ve created a unique melange of flavours.
The Crab Cake ($12), with radishes, broccoli and mushrooms dressed in vinaigrette, was the perfect début. We ogled the hormone-free AAA Angus Beef Tenderloin ($42), but choose the delicious Mackerel ($19) cooked in white butter and lemon. The Rice Pudding ($7) was refreshing, sprinkled with pineapple, passion fruit and a sprig of basil.
And after a sip of the Ferrero Rocher martini ($11) we were willing to don those suspenders ourselves.
