Not with Gourmet Burger Co. and its newest location near Yonge & Eglinton.
Think 100% beef burger ($6) made from the purest, locally raised beef, perfectly pink, juicy (not fatty), with ideal burger-to-bun ratio. (Not to mention lamb, chicken and veggie options available, too.)
Next, go crazy with toppings such as avocado, beets, brie, goats’ cheese, pineapple, portabello mushroom, and even a fried egg ($1-$2 each). Same for the crispy, hand-cut sweet potato fries served in a generous box ($3). (We’re a sucker for these and at GBC, they rock.)
Talk about a gourmet burger experience to love without the upscale price tag.
Now that’s some beef.
