Oh, Ossington, you’re practically perfect in every way, but we’ve always felt there was something missing, a sleek and modern, but warm and inviting restaurant. Yes, that’s what was missing, but not anymore.
The latest to hit the strip is Böhmer (by Paul Boehmer, of Rosewater fame). We instantly swooned over the gorgeous interior, topped only by the delicious food.
The menu offered classics with a twist. We feasted on pickerel in a beat and horseradish sauce ($26) and pan-seared foie gras with maple glazed apples ($22). We rounded out our meal with a home-style bread pudding ($10),which left us wondering how we'd last so long without it.
With the missing piece in place, we can rest easy (and eat to our heart's content).
