There might as well have been an audible cock-a-doodle-doo.
The rooster on the awning and the smell of breakfast had us wide awake, walking through the doors of the recently opened Red’s Diner.
Breakfast is served all day, and we sampled enough to want to come back every morning. The Prairie Breakfast Plate ($13) with eggs, homemade perogies and kielbasa (made right in Bridgeland) and the Farmhouse Eggs Benedict ($10) topped with spinach, artichoke and tomato had us forgetting about words like cholesterol and calories.
And we still crave the superfood-approved Red Quinoa cereal ($9), topped with roasted pumpkin seeds, as well as pretty much anything else on the menu.
This rooster can wake us up any time.
