In this thing called life, we like to think of ourselves as leaders (and not sheep).
We also really like to think of Judas Goat, the new tapas joint from Sean Heather and Scott Hawthorn of Irish Heather and Salt Tasting Room. Named after a goat trained to lead sheep into slaughterhouses, the 28-seat room has a long window ledge, yellow stools and a mural by local artist Robert Chaplin.
The paper menu lists eclectic items, like Rabbit Rillette with Carrot Panna Cotta ($6) and Potato & Quail’s Egg Salad with Shaved Botarga ($8). There are wines (from $5) to whet the palette and glasses of sherry (from $4), too.
We may not be sheep, but in this case? Baaaa.
