Marie Antoinette said it best, and we’re following her advice straight to Liberty Village. (Even if the quote is historically debatable.)
At the newest delectable dessert spot, For the Love of Cake, we happily munched on cupcakes ($3), like the mouth-watering Rocky Road (with chocolate ganache filling, creamy icing and marshmallow topping).
We opted to share the Chocolate Guinness “Mancakes” with the men in our lives (though they loved the light and feminine Lemon Meringue, too). While the four-dimensional cupcakes mean we might have to hit the gym four times more often, it’s worth it for the fluffy cake, decadent filling, creamy icing and extra toppings.
We think Marie would approve.
