New projects at the office have made take-out and snacks our dietary staples. The route to healthy living, it is not.
So we’re calling on our own dietary secret weapon: Pre-cooked meals from The Liberated Cook, deliciously prepared by Chef Andrew Hewson and his culinary team. (We’ve also been known to rely on them when skipping kitchen time to enjoy some spring sunshine).
The fresh, natural ingredients are already prepped before we arrive at the shop and we simply assemble our favourite meals to take home. In just over an hour, we have ten dinners for two ($140) ready for cooking or freezer-stashing. We could live off the delicious Asian Pork Tenderloin served with seasonal roasted vegetables and sweet potatoes. For a taste of Italy we include the Fresh-made Cannelloni with beef, ricotta cheese and mushrooms. And for those days when we need a little comfort food we slip in some Shepherd’s Pie.
Now we can have a healthy dinner on the table faster than the delivery guy. (Edward, we’ll miss you, but it’s for the best).
