Swiss Delights

swiss-master chocolatierMontreal (Jul.09.10)

We rarely say no. Particularly when it comes to a fine piece of chocolate.

So the minute we walked into the new Swiss Master Chocolatier we knew we’d been beaten (but this defeat was oh-so-sweet).

The truffles (in more than 40 flavours like crème brulée, cappuccino, raspberry and coconut, $2 each) were worth every bite. And we lost any chance at a comeback when we indulged in some hazelnut bark ($8), dark chocolate covered ginger ($8), microwaveable chocolate fondue ($7) and petit fours ($15).

Seeing as this store will soon be celebrating its 25th anniversary in Toronto, its arrival in Montreal was well worth the wait. (And weight.)
