Many people fear the unknown. We love it. Especially since we’ve discovered how delicious it is.
Upon entering L’Inconnu (dubbed ‘the unknown’ in English) we can’t help but feel right at home. Although the quaint space – recently vacated by La Brunoise – has received a facelift, the food remains the main attraction; the menu features a feast of comfort with gastronomic flair. We were munching on the warm, delicious cheese bread while contemplating irresistible entrées like poached lobster with chanterelle mushrooms and bacon ($14), and hearty osso bucco ($24). We settled on the popular black cod ($26).
As full as we found ourselves dessert ($8-10) was a must-have; our stomachs somehow made room for the sumptuous chock-full o’ caramel bread pudding.
With dinner this delicious, we expect that L’Inconnu won’t remain unknown for long.
