According to ninety percent of girly product advertising, women like things "fresh." And it's true: Fresh fruit, fresh breathe and now the freshest coffee in the city.

We've found Manic Coffee, the only café in Toronto with the Clover, a special machine designed to brew coffee by the cup ($2 - 5). Every visit we can savour a different blend, watching the beans ground and brewed for our individual taste.
We start with Los Immortales (black grape and milk chocolate flavours), try out Flecha Roja (red fruit and caramel) and finish with the Ethiopia (hints of lemon peel, jasmine and lemongrass).
Since we've become connoisseurs (along with the rest of their instant roster of regulars), we're willing to make the ultimate splurge - a pre-ordered cup of the Hacienda La Esmeralda Especial #1 Auction Lot. Arriving this Friday, it's one of the highest priced coffees in the world (tickets available now for $15).
So who needs fresh breath? We're willing to trade it in for a fresh jolt of java any day.
