When it comes to the CNE, we confess; we're in it for the food.
And this year we're heading straight to the Mac & Cheesery for suped-up versions of our childhood favourites.
Gooey standouts like The Traditional ($6.25) and The Cheeseburger Mac ($7.95) are all made with a rich, homemade cheddar cheese sauce and oven-baked for a piping-hot, bubbly finish.
Meanwhile jacked-up grilled cheese sammies like The Canadian ($6.95) with cheddar, tomatoes and crispy bacon, and the Grilly Cheese Steak ($7.95) with mozzarella, grilled roast beef, caramelized onions and peppers, are toasted and served up with a side of chips and pickles.
Did we mention the deep-fried macaroni ($5)?
It’s got us feeling all warm and bubbly.
