There’s no doubt about it: the Capital has become a real foodie’s feast.
Now, no stone is left unturned in the search for delicious eats in the city’s hopping food scene. C’est Bon Cooking is now offering walking tours of the city’s food hotspots, and the two-and-a-half-hour experience ($45/person) promises to provide an in-depth introduction to all that our fair city has to offer.
The Byward Market edition hits fresh food places like The House of Cheese, La Bottega and restaurants Domus Café and Benny’s Bistro, with tastings and samples at each. This fall will see the tours expand to surrounding regions to visit farms and food producers.
We’re lacing up our walking shoes (and loosening our belts) now.
