Summer Patios

Summer is really here, finally! But it goes too fast, so we need to make the most of it. So there's nothing sweeter that taking in the summer days and nights on some of this cities finest patios. Here are some of the ones we enjoy: Il Posto (148 Yorkville Ave.) This courtyard almost makes you feel like you’re not in Yorkville. It makes you feel as if you’re in Italy. Toronto Life magazine has given this restaurant three-and-a-half stars and you know how hard they are to please!
Xacutti (503 College St.) College St. would not be College St. without this little gem, which boasts a tiny little courtyard (and front patio.) These outdoor places can be what you want it to be: a romantic dinner, a morning-after-you-know-what-brunch, or the perfect place to catch up with friends. Call and make reservations though!
Amber (119 Yorkville Ave.) : A fantastic outdoor patio so popular you may walk into Amber and wonder what happened to all the people? Well, keep walking through the emptiness, out the back door and that’s where everyone is. Having a grand ol’ time too!
C-Lounge (456 Wellington St. W.) This back patio is possibly one of the nicest patios attached to any bar in Toronto, with private cabanas and everything. But, be forewarned. It’s also a very dangerous patio for those wearing heels (of course you are right?!?) because they get stuck in those little wooden slabs…Be forewarned too: This place is for those who are going to pick up and those who like to be picked up.
Kensington Kitchen (124 Harbord St.) Perfect place to bring the parents. The food is casual, the setting is casual, and we promise you, your parents will love it. Talk about the lovely flowers this patio features. Even we love the greenery and we are not greenery people!
