Ditto goes for A Taste For Chocolate: a ‘chocolate tastings and event’ service. ‘Chocolate’ and ‘tastings’ - need we say more? Here’s how it works: You assemble a group of well-deserving people, then Tracey Edelist, founder of A Taste For Chocolate, takes over for a few delicious hours. She starts with the history of chocolate, how it’s made, and what sets apart a good one (Cocoa Camino) from a not-so-good one (trick-or-treat).

Tracey then moves on to the sampling: 6 delectable varieties in fact. From fair trade organic to historical French varieties, you’ll learn how to accurately identify great chocolate – while keeping score on your ratings sheet. We loved all the darks, particularly the taste-bud shattering Michel Cluizel.

Besides coming to your home or office for private events, A Taste For Chocolate also imports and sells a variety of the finest chocolate (nearly impossible to find otherwise) and makes custom gift baskets too.

The parties range between $23 to $45 per person – well worth it for a private chocolate-party with a grab-bag you won’t want to share!
