Hibernation is for Bears

Oh the weather outside is frightful, and the fire is so delightful, and since you’ve got no food at home, all you want to do is pick up the phone. We understand that it’s getting miserable outside and that hibernating inside your apartment until April may seem like a good idea. But like all good Torontonians, we have to brave the cold to keep our social life burning.

And with great new places opening around the city, how can you stay cooped up?

Take MoDo for example - It’s a brand new (we’re talking 24 hours old new) restaurant just north of Yorkville that you won’t want to miss.

The menu is compelling: small, made for sharing Mediterranean dishes (prepared by executive Chef Ian, formerly of Noce) that will leave you salivating for more.

The décor unique: there’s dramatic lighting, high ceilings, original hardwood flooring and authentic furnishings from around the world (two bronze statues from Indonesia greet you at the door).

The music, eclectic: one night you could be listening to old-school jazz, the next could be soulful R&B. MODO even has live music on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

So, tell us, how good of an idea does hibernation sound now?
