Fry Guys

We’ve always been a sucker for French Fries. As a kid, all it took was a Happy Meal to keep us quiet. We like to think our tastes have matured – Sweet potato frites, glammed-up poutine – call them what you will, we still love our fries.
Sadly, the lack of fun flavours in the frozen food aisle (on those rare occasions when we attempt to feed our obsession using our own kitchen) has left us paying restaurant prices for the humble spud.
That is, until we found Alexia frozen fries (about $2.50 – 3.50 for a 1 lb bag), from the creator of Terra Chips. Available in Sweet Potato as well as Sea Salt julienne varieties, they also make a mean potato wedge.
Imagine gourmet flavours such as: Olive Oil and Sea Salt; Olive Oil, Parmesan and Roasted Garlic; Olive Oil, Sun Dried Tomato and Pesto; and Olive Oil, Rosemary and Garlic (could it be that we’ve found the perfect side for our cedar plank salmon?). Just pop them in the oven, flip and enjoy.
Even a Happy Meal isn’t that easy.
