We’re spilling the beans on some of the best beef-on-a-bun in town.
Word has started to spread about Vera’s Burger Shack, a tiny resto tucked in the corner of a butcher shop (so you know the meat is fresh). The charmingly retro-style spot is the chain’s only location outside of B.C. and offers an express menu of delicious burgers and fries.
We satisfied our inner carnivore with the thick and juicy classic Vera Burger ($5.99), small French fries ($1.49) and a bottomless drink ($1.69). And since barbecue season is almost upon us, we left with some ready-to-cook Vera’s Burger patties ($10.89/kg; approx. $1.75/6 oz. patty).
So we’ll be cooking up some of the best beef in town, too.
