When we have food cravings, we reach for carbs every time.
Now we can indulge our cravings with authentic cuisine from the 20 regions of Italy. At Osteria Venti, chef Michele Forgione makes everything on the menu from scratch, including bread, pasta and cured meats.
We sampled a number of dishes but our hearts –and tastebuds– played favourites. The veal meatballs ($9) were some of the juiciest we’ve ever had, while the Agnolotti stuffed with green peas and mascarpone ($9/$15) were as fresh as spring.
We relished the crispy St Canut farm porchetta ($23), an absolute must. And there’s no better way to end the meal than with the chef’s mother’s fluffy, delicious tiramisu ($7).
Talk about constant cravings.
