It can be hard to part with the past – our closets are indisputable proof.
So when we heard that old-world establishment Troika was redecorating, redefining their menu and rebranding themselves as a sexy supper club called Addict, we were a wee bit wary.
But upon entering the below-street-level locale, we couldn’t help but be won over by its seductive charm and mood lighting. After an order of oysters with champagne mignonette ($18), a decadent lobster and mushroom risotto ($27) and a homemade trifle-style tiramisu ($8), we were totally hooked.
Change is good. (Perhaps there’s hope for our wardrobe after all.)
