Nothing beats a seat on The Main for people-watching – especially a comfy chair inside a café with massive windows.
At new Plateau java joint Café Magma, the organic coffee is responsibly sourced and roasted on demand, so it couldn't be fresher. We grabbed a plush white chair and ordered the lunch deal ($6.99) which includes a chicken panini, fresh fruit salad and a gorgeous and refreshing loose-leaf lemon rooibos tea.
For dessert, we tried the low-fat gelato and sorbet ($3.75); mango and vanilla make a great combination. And we couldn't resist picking up a bag of beans ($3.95/100g) for delicious coffee at home.
But we'll definitely be back for more people-watching.
