Oprah has a personal chef. We think we are entitled to one too.
Fortunately, we don’t need a media mogul salary to have delicious meals adorning our dinner table. Raelene Harder (a.k.a. our personal chef) has just launched Eden at Home. The process is simple: We meet with a chef to develop a menu tailored to the nutritional needs of our family. (It gets a little tricky with the peanut allergy, our little tyke who won’t eat anything green and our goal to fit into that bikini by July.) Starting at $40 to upwards of $200, depending on your family’s needs, meals plans, grocery lists and assembly preparation will be arranged by the chef and ready as fast as our hubby can say, “What’s for dinner?”
When we’re looking to get away from our own kitchen, we’ll be signing up for the Girl’s Night In sessions, served up on a monthly basis with topics such as Simple, Healthy Family Food ($30, May 21, 7:30 – 9:30). We’re excited to leave with a full belly (after devouring one of the delectable desserts) and some food for thought.
We have finally found paradise -- at least until mealtime is over.
