The wait seemed long, but it’s finally over.
Chef David Hawksworth recently opened his eponymous Hawksworth Restaurant at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, and it’s already packed daily.
The Munge & Leung- designed interior includes a lounge and a private dining room, and no matter where you’re sitting, the food and drink are exceptional.
The Pacific sablefish with daikon ($29) and Yarrow Meadows duck breast ($30) are made with fresh local ingredients, as are the delicious cocktails. The gin and orange-blossom Hotel Georgia ($12) is a tasty way to toast the chef, who often mills about to check in with patrons.
The vote is unanimous: Hawksworth was well worth the wait.
