WVRST Gives Sausages a Gourmet Spin

We’ve always had a soft spot for street meat.

Sadly for hot dog vendors, there’s a new meat market in town – and we’re in love. WVRST is a sausage emporium offering up 18 varieties of wieners (starting at $6), from popular Bratwurst to gourmet game selections like duck with foie gras and maple.

The dogs are served two ways: on a super fresh bun (we topped ours with caramelized onions and sweet peppers) or as a Currywvrst (think sliced-up sausage drizzled with a spicy tomato and curry sauce alongside slices of country bread).
   
Save room for the duck-fat fries (from $4.50), which are simply to die for.

Our days of dining on street corners are definitely numbered.
