“Tastebuds, consider yourself warned.”
So said the chalkboard sign outside new artisanal ice cream shop Kem CoBa. This cool spot is already creating a buzz – and long lines – with its delicious, creative blend of classic and exotic flavours, with funky décor to match (hot pink and green, with a bubbling water wall.)
Our interest was piqued by the Hibiscus sorbet ($2.75-$4.75, tax included) and a generous sample of their most popular ice cream flavour, Chocolate 72% ($3.24-$4.50). But we settled on the truly inspired homeade soft serve ($3.24), which is available in a different flavour every two weeks. We devoured a cone of the creamy almond milk and tart sour cherry – bliss.
Our tastbuds couldn’t have been more pleased.
