Our dinner time nightmare: Getting home after a long day at work, ready to chew our hand off – only to find that the fridge looks more like a deserted island than a grocery store.
Considering our kitchen has barely seen food since June, we're loving the West Island's latest spot, Eatz Chez Vouz. Conveniently located in the Marché de l'Ouest, the prêt-a-manger food counter has all our dinner essentials ready to go (measured out to our desired portion).
We got the meal going with a medley of salads including orzo with caramelized onions and spinach ($6.50/500g), Greek salad ($9/500g) and bocconcini and tomato salad ($9/500g). We followed it up with Asian salmon ($18/500g) and crab cakes ($6.99 each). And the pièce de résistance: the irresistible cream cheese brownie ($10/500g).
We can sleep easy now knowing that our fridge will never go hungry again.
