Sophisticated Bistro Adds New Brunch Menu

Le Comptoir may be best known for its hit charcuterie (and fabulous wines), but that’s all about to change.

The eatery is taking brunch to a whole new level with a flawless menu and total attention to detail. Each item is as unique as it is classic; the smoked meat grilled cheese ($11) is hearty and tangy, while the salmon scrambled eggs ($12) are creamy and delicate.

The pulled pork sandwich ($14), crowned with an oozing fried egg, wows with its tender meat and sweet golden onions. Or share a brioche ($7), which has just the right balance of tartness from the compote, and sweetness from the burnt caramel.

We’ll be pulling up a stool at this counter all the time now.
