Restaurant Brings La Dolce Vita Downtown

We’ve long enjoyed our monthly outing (read: pilgrimage) to Little Italy for authentic Italian cuisine.

But with Vinizza’s new downtown location, we can savour fresh ingredients from Jean Talon Market on a regular basis, amid the relaxing ambience of décor inspired by La Dolce Vita.

We’re hooked on the flavourful sea bass tartar ($15) and the thin-crust Margherita pizza ($13) topped with tomato, garlic and basil – who knew simple could be so stellar? With over 20 wines by the glass ($8–$20), we can discover pricier vintages without the commitment.

And knowing that proceeds from every meal go to Accueil Bonneau makes every visit truly sweet.

We might just have to make this a weekly event.
