We’re still coming down from our Halloween sugar high (the half-price stuff on shelves doesn’t help), but somehow we’ve always got room for cookies.
These days, we’re filling our cookie jar (and afternoon snack slot) with Tea Aura. The gourmet shortbread cookies are made with premium loose-leaf tea (thanks to owner Susan Ho’s willingness to experiment) that result in handcrafted leaf-shaped cookies that even coffee drinkers will crave. ($6.99 for 145g bag.)
We love the variety of flavours (enough for even the pickiest of palettes) inspired from our favourite blends including best-seller Lavender Currant, Rooibos Chai, Matcha Green Tea and the classic Earl Grey. But the bag that earned the most double dipping was definitely Chocolate Mint with its combination of bittersweet cocoa and the perfect splash of genuine mint (nothing artificial makes it into any of these batches).
At least now we can call our cookie habit upping our antioxidant intake.
