We've never liked braving the crowds (not to mention the cold) to spend Valentine's Day out, so it's been a while since we've done anything romantic (sparkles, glue and lots of red construction paper comes to mind)...
But thanks to PANTRY and Longo's, we're bringing back the romance (and leaving all the work to the pros). We're treating our mate (and ourselves) to PANTRY's Breakfast in Bed ($95 - $135) – a delectable spread of pastries, fresh fruit, organic yogourt (and more) as well as a lovely floral arrangement delivered right to our door.
And if we feel like spending the entire day inside (or would rather sleep in and plan dinner instead) we're turning to Longo's Sweetheart Bundle ($99). Complete with roses, dinner (think chicken cordon bleu, baked brie, salad and more) as well as dessert for two, all the necessary ingredients for a romantic dinner at home are made easy as pie (well, in this case, chocolate cake).
This Valentine's Day, we're happily upping the romance... and putting down the scissors.
