Whether for work, play or during an emergency fashion crisis, we’ve all had to think outside the box (or the closet).
Daniel Noiseux of Pizzaiolle fame has taken this concept to an entirely new level with his latest brain child, MüvBox.
This stylish gourmet restaurant on the pier of the Old Port offers fresh lobster dishes from Iles-de-la-Madeleine, and with the simple push of a button, transforms from a cargo container into an outdoor eatery in 90 seconds.
Almost instantly there was a fully functional, solar-powered gourmet kitchen, with stainless steel fridges and a wood-stone pizza oven to boot. Never one to shy away from Quebec seafood and outdoor dining, we chose a bowl of the chowder ($3.95), and were delighted by its heartiness and flavour (dipping crackers included). We also fell in love with the lobster roll ($8.95), the fresh seafood filling generously overflowing from the perfectly grilled hotdog bun. Mmmm…
As we licked our fingers, we made a mental note that this will be our official summertime snack. Which is how long MüvBox will be in this great location (so don’t delay).
