Another Fashion Week come and gone (check out our coverage here) and Ashley Bennion discloses what the fashionable, front row crowd were wearing:
Leggings. Worn as pants. Everything from coloured floral to buffalo plaid to liquid leather.
Boots. Of all shapes and sizes. Riding-style, thigh-high, booties, open-toed in leather and suede from powder grey, to brown to of course, black.
Hervé Léger. In skirt-form. The tighter, the better but worn with leggings (who knew?) made them seem a bit more doable.
Bib necklaces. Especially ones with large gems – really added the finishing touch to a front-row outfit.
Jackets. Mostly of the motorcycle leather and blazer-variety. (Helped that the weather was so mild!)
Boyfriend jeans. Dark or light but always rolled at the cuff.
Man boots. There seemed to be more men in attendance this year (not complaining – especially when sitting directly in front of Niko, season one winner of So You Think You Can Dance Canada) and they were wearing boots with jeans or pants, tucked. LOVE. Now just trying to figure out a way to get my husband into this look…
