Sam shares her vacation must-haves...
With summer around the corner (and me, on vacation as you're reading this) I've been dreaming of warm weather for a few weeks now. I thought since everyone else is dreaming of sunshine too, that I would share a few of my vacation must-haves.
Maxi Dress: A basic maxi dress can be worn during the day by the pool or on the beach, or dressed up at night with a pair of great sandals and a statement necklace. I have a black racerback maxi dress from Target that I live in all summer long.
Flip Flops: The best basic flip flop ever, Havaianas are my lifeline on vacation. They come in so many colours and styles, that you can pretty much find a pair for any event.
Tinted Moisturizer with SPF: Nobody wants to wear makeup on vacation, but at the same time, going absolutely au naturel isn't for everyone either. A great tinted moisturizer will keep your skin hydrated, protected and looking flawless. I love Kimiko's Hydrating Tint for it's SPF of 20 (it has broad spectrum protection) and its HydraLift technology, which means it's not only protecting your skin, but improving it too.
Cross Body Bag: Whether it's for travelling (one less bag to worry about carrying through the airport) or shopping (how can you properly browse when one hand is occupied with a purse?), I can't go anywhere without one. I'm currently in the market for a replacement, and I love this one by Marc Jacobs.
One-Piece Bathing Suit: I truly believe every woman should own a great one-piece bathing suit. I love Carmen Marc Valvo, he's simply a bathing suit genius.
Versatile Hair Tool: Banish the hair dryer! Let your hair dry naturally and then use a flat-iron to create waves or to straighten. I love the Rowenta Straight and Curl. Since it's both a curling iron and flat-iron, you only need to bring one tool (more space for new purchases!).
