When Emma's life starts looking more like Serena van der Woodsen's, this is what she'd like for Christmas, please.
Let me start by saying my family doesn't do presents, and haven't since my parents declared that my older brothers and I were "too old" for Christmas/birthday presents when I was the tender age of 12. I now realize that at the time money was tight and ixnaying gift giving was probably a hard decision for them to make. Now, 20 years on, we don't even think about making a wish list...well, they don't, anyhow.
I, on the other hand, am constantly making imaginary-present shopping lists in my head: for work, for my mom, for my dad, for my brothers, for my boyfriend, for my dog and, yes, for myself, as well. This particular wish list is what I'd ask for Christmas if we did do presents and money was never tight. A girl can dream, right?
