About Emma, Rebecca & Mia
Want a sneak peek inside the sweetspot.ca world? From product launch parties to personal must-haves, Emma Yardley, Rebecca Burstein and Mia Shulman dish on why working here is so sweet.
If you’re like me and you have a sweet tooth, you keep tabs on where your next sugar fix is coming from. Fortunately, I happen to work in a pretty sweet office and there’s never a shortage of treats just waiting for me to consume them. So without further ado, here’s a quick tour of all the "sweet spots" at Sweetspot*.

Where: Reception
What: Strawberry Puffs and Gumballs
Pro: They’re at reception, so they’re respectable for consumption (although presumably for visitors and not me).
Con: If you want more than, say, 2 servings, Monica knows about it (which can get little embarrassing).

Where: Kitchen
What: Swedish Berries
Pro: Totally fair game. Potentially high in antioxidants.
Con: Are not a permanent fixture in the kitchen. I might return to find them gone and become beleaguered by disappointment.
Where: Judy’s Desk
What: Sour Cherries
Pro: Fruity, delicious and seemingly available for all.
Con: Why these tasty tidbits are up on a ledge, I don’t know. I do know that it means I have to stand on a chair to get them (both dangerous and conspicuous).

Where: Emily’s Desk
What: Basket of Goodies
Pro: Basically the office jackpot of yumminess. What doesn’t she have in this magical basket?
Con: Have to either ask Emily for something (she might say no)...or wait until she isn’t there...

Where: Elise’s Desk
What: Hershey’s Kisses
Pro: Elise doesn’t know that I know that she doesn’t know that I know that she has a small package of delicious kisses with my name written all over them.
Con: They don’t actually have my name written all over them.
Happy Snacking!
