I see that orange lipstick is really big for spring, how should I wear it?

Shannon C. emailed us at expert@sweetspot.ca; and our makeup expert, Miriam Gee, answered:

If you want to be bold with sorbet lip color go for melon, orange, peach, or a mandarin shade. Keep the skin fresh with a glow to the cheekbone and dab on the cheek pillow. The eye should be kept clean with a sheer mushroom, or gold eye shadow - for a little dress-up add eyeliner in an indigo or brown.

A clear gloss on top of these lips will add a softer look for an otherwise strong lip choice.
