What should you look for in a fashion investment piece?
- You should look for quality and not quantity.
- Look for pieces that will last for a long time.
- Don't invest in trendy pieces that are going to fall apart (or go out of style) after wearing them for only a short period of time.
What do you think are the 5 must-have items in a summer wardrobe?
- Colour, colour, colour!
- Shirt dresses.
- Brightly coloured nails and toes are great for summer.
- High platform sandals.
- Shorter than short skirts.
Isaac Mizrahi has been a leader in the design business for almost 20 years. He has won four CFDA Awards, as well as a special award for his documentary Unzipped. He has been designing a ready to wear collection for US retailer Target since 2003, and recently teamed up with Liz Claiborne for her Spring '09 collection.
