I’ve been losing weight and have gone from a bra size of 40DD to a 36D. I’m having difficulty finding the right sized bra/style and in addition, most bras go from a three-prong to a two-prong from a 38 to a 36. I feel very unsupported with the two-prong. What can I do?

Congratulations on your new size! My first question for women is how much more weight are they hoping to lose? As you continue to lose weight your bra size will continue to change. The best bet is to always go to a well-respected bra-fitting boutique and get fit.
I would also recommend starting with one bra. You can always ask if any are on sale, as this may help save you money if you do shed a few more pounds. I believe that if you are put in the correct size and if you let your fitter know you would like full support, the number of prongs won’t make much of a difference as the support comes from the fit and the construction of the cup, wire and band. Quality bras do make a difference (in this case I would recommend lines like Fantasie, Freya, Natori, Betsy Johnson, and Chantelle) but nothing beats an amazing fit from a great lingerie boutique.
One last secret: remember ladies that any 15-pound weight change can affect your bra size. Don't hesitate to visit your local boutique to see how your bra currently fits!
