Calorie Killer

circuit 60 at track fitnessToronto (Oct.06.09)

In 60 minutes we can catch up on Gossip Girl, make something special or blink and miss as an hour goes by on the Internet.

Thanks to Track Fitness we can now sweat through Circuit 60, the toughest workout we've ever tackled.

Sweetspot's fitness expert put us through our paces for a full hour, alternating blasts on the treadmill with mat and weight work ($25; $200 for 10; first class is always free). Instructions are yelled out to keep us on our toes (and from getting bored) with levels for walkers, joggers and runners (or like us, joggers at the start of the class and um, walkers by the middle).

I have tried it before, no results in over 2 months, 5 days a week!! I'm 136 and my doctor said people sometimes don't show weightloss until after 6 months or 8 months of work out.I went crazy after 2 months not getting any results...I am a quitter what can I say.

I don't live anywhere near Toronto anymore, But I was always told that you can get the same 60 minute full on work out in 30 minutes if you do it in burst instead of a steady workout, so I think I'll be stick to smaller workouts.

There is absolutely nothing more enjoyable than getting together and working out in a group environment. Weights along with stepwork is tough and very effective for fat burning. As a fellow trainer I love pushing my clients to new heights as well!
