Why It’s Sweet: Mention Chia, and we think of a certain novelty gift item. But now it’s taking on a whole new nutrition meaning. Packed with 20 percent complete protein (not to mention five times the calcium of milk and more Omega 3 than flaxseed), this cereal is the best breakfast find since sliced bread (on its own or tossed on yogurt). We love that the gluten-free, lactose-free recipe stabilizes our blood sugar and keeps us feeling full with a hefty dose of fibre. And with three yummy flavours to choose from (Plain, Apple Cinnamon, and Cranberry Ginger), we're sure it has more staying power than even that catchy (and annoying) jingle.
