A Chang‘e Will Do You Good

We're getting a jump on next year's Resolutions (which sounds better than catching up on last year's) and are looking at the fall offerings from Chang'e Studio, Leslieville's new Healing Arts centre.  

With yoga and pilates for adults and children, and services like acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and massage therapy -- healthy changes inside will help us weather the changes outside. (A new trench coat won't hurt either.)

Chang'e Studio's family yoga classes ($17 for one adult and child, $10 per additional child or adult, $150 for 10-class pass, GST not included) help with positive energy, movement and healing, while introducing mind-body consciousness to our youngsters. Their policy of letting parents, caregivers or grandparents share the class with little yogis allows some flexibility of a different sort for us!

Pilates for teens and tweens ($12 per class, $100 for 10-class pass) helps them to create well-rounded and healthy lifestyles (and let us relax in the meantime). Chang'e Studio's private and semi-private classes, utilizing mats and fully-equipped Pilates machines, make us as happy as Mary Tyler Moore tossing a cute knit beret in the air.

We're gonna make it after all.
