We've barely begun 2009, and we already feel ourselves stressing about those New Year's resolutions.
Thank goodness for Hot Yoga on 17th, an oasis of serenity and health.
Besides being fundamentally conducive to de-stressing, the space is decked out with all the latest in eco-friendly designs. We love the American clay walls, which pump out negative ions and increase oxygen absorption. That means we feel more energized and much less stressed. (Can we get them at work, please?)
Classes run seven days a week (drop-in $16, monthly passes $140, annual membership $1,000), and are offered in a traditional hot and a calorie-killing Vinyasa flow. All classes are done in a room set to a sweat-inducing (and pore-cleansing!) 40 degrees Celsius.
Plus, there's a high-efficiency furnace that changes air flow five times an hour – which means no sweaty yoga smell!
This may be one resolution we'll be able to keep.
