Adam and Eve knew what they were talking about when it came to apples. In the 90s we couldn't resist temptation, gleefully guzzling apple martinis by the bucketful. And La Belle Province's apple ice wine near started a riot at the S.A.Q., while crabapple cider has been a long-term staple, lulling many into blissful ignorance, sleep and, erm, other sorts of activities.

Now the forbidden fruit has new direction: Sweet-as-sin Vintage Ice Cider Elixir Spa Treatments newly launched at Amerispas across Quebec.

Wonderfully decadent, the ice cider elixir contains deep-sea minerals and pure Quebec cider vinegar - all formulated to penetrate the skin for optimum hydration and nourishment. We decompressed with the therapeutic ice cider bathing treatment ($50 for 25 minutes), relaxing our sore muscles and making our skin look fresh and new. Then we unwound with a rejuvenating and soothing body wrap ($105 for 50 minutes) that de-stressed every inch of our frazzled body, while we gave into the bracing ice cider elixir exfoliation treatment ($120 for 50 minutes) and rubbed away our dry patches. Soft and silky smooth, we couldn't help but indulge in the anti-aging mask ($105) to reduce our blotchiness and the new take-home shower gel ($49; $95).

Now, pass the basket of Granny Smith. We're ready for another bite.
